Wörterbuch
Wedding
WWW ist ein digitales, standortspezifisches und synästhetisches Lexicon des Berliner Bezirks Wedding, wo Räume zu Buchstaben, Buchstaben zu Bildern und Sprache zu Sound werden. Es formuliert einen magischen Weg die Nachbarschaft zu lesen, indem die Kinder geleitet, motiviert und trainiert werden in ihrer Alltagslandschaft Muster zu finden und zu gestalten um sie in eine Sammlung von Fundstücken und Referenzen zu übersetzen.

Workshop-Methodik: Inspiriert von den verschiedenen Formen und Art und Weisen, wie Information in einem Wörterbuch abgebildet und präsentiert werden, jagen die Kinder in diesem Workshop Wörter durch die Ebenen jener Elemente, aus denen sich ihre Stadt zusammensetzt bzw. komponiert ist.
Der “wortshop” findet in Form von drei Stadtführungen statt, die von den Künstlerinnen vorgeschlagen und geleitet werden. Jede Wanderung konzentriert sich auf einen Aspekt der städtischen Wörterbuchstruktur und bietet drei verschiedene Lesarten der Nachbarschaft.

* Urbane Etymologie und Ikonografie: von Bedeutungen der Stadt durch Aufspüren der Wurzeln, Mythen u. fiktionalen Erzählungen.

* Urbane Phonetik: des Sounds der Räume/ Stadt, das Übersetzen von Geräuschen & Klängen im urbanen Raum.
Geleitet von Choreographin/Sound Künstlerin: Zorka Wollny (PL)
Pädagogische Philosophie: “www” gehört zu #Philopoetik, eine von Paz Ponce entwickelte pädagogische Methodik die reflektiert in Bildungs-orientierte Kunstprojekte, die Kinder mit einem Sinn für Poesie des Alltags bietet die mit den technischen Hilfsmitteln um die Realität zu erfassen, zu sammeln, zu transformieren und zu präsentieren. Bei diesem Projekt bedient sich der Sprache besonders als spielerische Werkzeug bzw. als synästhetische Ansatz zum Leben und Wissen.

| WWW is a digital, site-specific and synesthetic vocabulary/lexicon of Wedding district in Berlin, where spaces are letters, letters are images and language is sound. A magic way of reading the neighborhood where children are guided, motivated and trained on finding, crating and translating patterns of their daily landscape into a collection of findings and references.

| Workshop methodology: Inspired by the different forms in which information is presented/displayed in a dictionary entry, in this “wordshop” the children will become wordhunters through the layers of elements composing the city.
The “wordshop” unfolds in the form of three guided city-walks, designed and facilitated by the artists. Each walk focuses on one aspect each of the urban dictionary structure, offering three different ways to reading layers of the Neighborhood.

* Urban etymology and iconography – (on city meanings), tracing the roots, origins, myths or fictional narratives. Facilitated by illustrator Ulrike Jensen (DE)
* Urban phonetics- recording, translating or extracting a sound palette of the space. Facilitated by choreographer and sound artist Zorka Wollny (PL)
| Pedagogical philosophy: “www” belongs to #Philopoetics, a pedagogical methodology developed by Paz Ponce for educational and art oriented projects which stimulate in children a sense of poetry of the every day life, providing them with the technical tools to capture, collect, transform and present that reality. In this project language is particularly conceived as a playful tool and at the same time, as a synesthetic approach towards life and knowledge.
